Gas Distribution Utility Segment

Since 2001, CF Energy has transitioned from downstream operations to serving major industrial users with natural gas transportation services. The company has reached cooperation intentions with several large industrial users within Guangdong Province. Currently, CF Energy’s major industrial gas transportation projects are primarily located in the Gaoyao District of Zhaoqing City, Guangdong.

Datang Power Plant Project

The Datang International Gaoyao Jintao Natural Gas Cogeneration Project involves natural gas facilities and branch pipeline construction that begin at the Jinli Valve Room of the Guangdong Provincial Natural Gas Network and terminate at the plant area of the Datang International Gaoyao Jintao Natural Gas Cogeneration Project. Located in the Jintao Industrial Zone, Jinli Town, Gaoyao District, Zhaoqing, the project was officially commissioned on November 14, 2018. It currently transports approximately 600 million cubic meters of natural gas annually, saving about 738,000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 1.9898 million tons per year.

The first phase of the Datang Thermal Power Project includes the construction of two 9F gas-steam combined cycle units, utilizing the world's most advanced Class F heavy-duty gas turbine technology. The nitrogen oxide emissions meet advanced international standards. As part of the infrastructure interconnectivity planning project for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the project's construction will significantly enhance the power supply security and peak load management capabilities of Guangdong Province. It will meet the electricity demand of the load center in the Zhaoqing area, effectively addressing the power shortfall in key areas like the Jinli Jintao Industrial Zone, and enhancing the safety and reliability of the electrical grid.

Urban Gas

Since 1995, CF Energy has been engaged in urban pipeline gas services, accumulating nearly 30 years of experience in the construction, operation, and management of urban gas projects. Currently, the company's urban gas projects are primarily located in Sanya City, Hainan Province, and Xiangdong District, Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province.

Sanya Urban Gas Project

Founded in 1995, Sanya Changfeng Offer Shore Natural Gas Distribution Co., Ltd., a subsidiary controlled by CF Energy, holds the exclusive franchise rights for urban pipeline gas distribution in Sanya's administrative region (excluding Yalong Bay). The Sanya municipal natural gas project commenced in 1997 and was completed and operational by June 2003, achieving full city-wide network coverage. To date, the project has constructed a total of 1,494.275 kilometers of pipeline networks, with a cumulative investment of nearly 600 million yuan, serving over 340,000 residential users and more than 1,000 non-residential users, with an annual gas supply of approximately 60 million cubic meters.

Xiangdong Urban Gas Project

Pingxiang Xinao Changfeng Natural Gas Co., Ltd., in which CF Energy holds a 40% stake, obtained the gas franchise rights for Xiangdong District, Pingxiang City, in January 2010. The first phase of the project was completed and began supplying gas in January 2013, providing pipeline natural gas to over a hundred ceramic enterprises and nearly 100,000 residents in the area. In 2017, CF Energy introduced the well-known domestic gas group, Xinao Gas, into this project to expand business operations, aiming to achieve mutual benefits and cooperative success.
